Renowned South African poet Ntsiki Mazwai has blasted the decision of National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) to drop rape charges against “DJ Fresh” Sikwane and Themba “Euphonik” Nkosi.
A woman and three others had accused the aforementioned DJs of sexual assault and rape in 2011 but the charges against the duo was dropped due to lag of sufficient evidence.
Spokesperson for the NPA, Lumka Mahanjana, was quizzed about their decision to throw out the case and he said the admitted evidence was not enough to nail DJ Fresh and Euphonik.
While the decision of NPA has been described as controversial by many, Ntsiki has lent her voice to the drama as well.
