The Scorpio Kings DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small have survived an attempt to take their lives, this is according to reports.
The pair have been relatively inactive and it is been reported by Sunday World that an hit was ordered against the stars 8th of February.
Bullets were rained on the Mercedez bus as two gun runners stationed somewhere around East Rand fired. Quite a chunk of DJ Maphorisa’s crew member were injured.
The Police over there have confirmed the incident, stating that the suspects drove an Audi A4. They revealed that the suspected hired killers shot at the front and back of the bus before speeding off.
Among the two artists hit with a bullet includes one of their latest signee who have been admitted at the ICU of Union Hospital in Alberton .
In bid to secure his life, DJ Maphorisa has since gone into hiding but has reported the incident to the Police.
While the reason for the attack is still a huge subject of speculation, there are rife claims that a woman who is dating another man is the probable cause. She is reportedly named Nia and it is claimed she was in the bus that was shot at.
