Makhadzi Loses Out On A Gig Because Of Record Label Issues

South African vocal powerhouse Makhadzi has lost a music gig even though she had been paid for it.

Makhadzi saw her stock massively increased after she made the headlines for her Matorikisi song of 2020. She made so much money, built a massive house for her mother and has flourished better ever since.

Since the close of last year, Makhadzi has had several issues with the record label that manages her. The singer is currently trying to settle several disagreements she has with her managers, this has caused her to miss out on some significant shows.

She was due to feature in the Etv soapie Rhythm City but she left the producers with no choice than to look for alternatives after she failed to appear for shooting.

The program is meant to support local musicians and support such talents. Makhadzi was meant to perform at a popular club Kilowat during the show, alas, she’s backed out. Report have claimed that she was given deposit for her appearance but she has misunderstanding with Open Mic productions.

Makhadzi appeared on the show for the first time last year December. We bring you excerpt from her performance.
